A North Webster man suffered a gunshot wound to the head early today while allegedly playing a game of Russian roulette.
Estevan O. Hernandez, 40, of Crystal Flash Road, was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital and released after the 2:41 a.m. incident.
According to Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department Detective Sgt. Todd Sautter, Hernandez and a male relative were drinking at the relative's Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park home when the shooting occurred.
The weapon, believed to be a .357-caliber Magnum, was not recovered. Sautter said the other man apparently took the weapon and left the residence prior to the investigation.
The bullet reportedly entered Hernandez's right temple and exited a few inches above that before lodging in the ceiling of the mobile home.
The shooting was ruled self-inflicted and accidental.
