North Webster residents David Oakes and Lynn Stevens were honored Tuesday evening as co-persons of the year during the annual North Webster Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
Chamber President Chris Bruno said the award celebrates these individuals' contributions to the community. 'We're honoring two people not because we couldn't decide, but because both are overwhelmingly deserving through all their hard work and community service.'
Both Oakes and Stevens have been involved in numerous community service and volunteer projects in North Webster. Also recognized was Connie Beery for her years of service to the Chamber.
The banquet, catered by Neva's Restaurant, was held at the North Webster Community Center.
