NORTH WEBSTER -ÊA North Webster woman suffered minor injuries after her car hit a utility pole and continued into the edge of Barbee Lake.
Vickie L. Kaze, 52, of Epworth Forest Road, North Webster, told police she thought she may have had an epileptic seizure and lost control of her vehicle. Kaze, who suffered a scrape to her lower leg, told officers she did not remember the accident.
According to a witness at the scene of the accident, Kaze was traveling on Ind. 13N when her car veered off the road, hitting a NIPSCO pole. The car continued through a yard, hitting a dumpster and picnic table before hitting a seawall and a pontoon boat and landing partially in Barbee Lake.
The estimated damage from the accident is between $5,000 and $10,000.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department investigated the collision.
