Alexis Linnemeier flashes the peace sign from her 'Flower Power' Beetle during the Cutie Parade in North Webster Wednesday evening. The parade was part of the 54th annual Mermaid Festival. Parade winners will be named Friday night during the annual Cutie Contest. Each year, the Palace of Sports Foundation awards $50,000 in scholarships through the Cutie Parade and contest. The theme of this year's parade was 'Reflections of the 20th Century.' Riding along with Alexis is her sister, Courtney. They are the daughters of Will and Becky Linnemeier of Milford.
