Staff Report-
The Salvation Army Chicago Staff Band Concert scheduled for Saturday at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center has been canceled because of winter storm warnings.
The National Weather Service is predicting 4 to 6 inches of snow and temperatures in the single digits on Saturday.
"With the band coming out of Chicago, the decision was made on the side of safety to cancel the concert," according to Major William Welch, local Salvation Army director.
The concert will be rescheduled at the PAC as the band’s itinerary permits, said Ken Locke of the Salvation Army.
