So here we are on the precipice of selecting our future. It amazes me that anyone would consider voting for socialism, knowing the destructive nature of that governmental attitude towards the citizens. I would think any rational person would reject this form of government.
I’ve talked about this in earlier letters. I’ve spoken about the Marxism inbred in the new Democratic Party. It’s our choice, and we have very clear examples of what happens when we chosen wrong. We only have to look at Venezuela, an oil rich country who gave their freedom to a government that promised them everything. Free health care, don’t have to work, everything will be taken care of. They now have no rights, they have no food, they have succumbed to eating their pets!
Socialism is not a political choice, it is a disease. It gradually captures your soul, turns you against everything you’ve ever believed in and makes you a pawn of the government. I can see this happening right now, and so can you. You can have free health care, free college, cities without police, except they have their own police.
I don’t think I’m so old that many of you can’t remember what happened in Germany when Hitler took control. He replaced the police with his own idea of police, the Brown Shirts. They enforced laws that were never voted on, asking children to rat on their own parents if they did anything not permitted by the “government.” This may seem strange, but I heard of Democrat politicians asking the public to rat on anyone not wearing a COVID mask.
As you may wonder who you should vote for, let’s remember, President Trump has fulfilled every promise he made. He cut taxes, erected a border wall, decreased the cost of prescription drugs, appointed constitutional judges to the Supreme Court, addressed prison reform, established opportunity zones in depressed communities, responded to a global pandemic with protocols never seen before forcing the mutual cooperation of private industry and the government.
All this while trying to rebute the constant attacks by a biased and frankly dishonest media. A media whose purpose is to give us the truth, to investigate wrong doing by the government, yet they ignore wrong doing by the Democrats and make up stories about the president.
We are in a very troubled time. The Democrats have tried to convince us that we should mail in our ballots. Their purpose is to disrupt the election. Hillary Clinton herself suggested that Joe Biden should never concede. They should drag the election out until the Republicans just get tired of fighting in court. Is this what our forefathers envisioned?
So they don’t like the president. Exactly what are they offering us to replace the most successful president we’ve ever had? I just don’t think a politician who has spent 47 years in government, part of which was as vice president, and never accomplished anything, can assure me that he is going to change things now.
