Trough its partnership with Lutheran Health Network/Kosciusko Community Hospital, WCS incoming kindergarten students are invited to an opportunity to have a kindergarten physical at a minimal cost. Physicals will be provided by medical staff at Pediatric Healthcare Tuesday and April 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pediatric Care is at 902 Provident Court, Suite A. Children who participate in the WCHS Kindergarten Physical event can be registered for a drawing to receive a bicycle. One girl’s and one boy’s bicycle will be given away. The cost of the physical is $20 with the proceeds donated back to the WCS Boomerang Backpack Program. This opportunity is for incoming WCS kindergarten students only. Questions for this event can be directed to 574-372-5856. On March 10, WCS held a kindergarten roundup at the elementary schools in the district. If parents were unable to attend the roundup, contact neighborhood school to pre-register kindergarten students for the 2016-2017 school year.
