Warsaw Community Public Library is having a Canned Food Drive for Our Father's House that began Monday and runs through Nov. 14.
There will be 50 cents that will be taken off overdue fines for each donated canned item brought in from the following list: tuna, peanut butter, jelly, soup, chili, vegetables, especially corn, evaporated milk, and canned tomatoes.
Items will need to be taken to the circulation desk for credit before being placed in the provided bin. Area residents are encouraged to bring in items even if fines are not owned. Damaged items will not be accepted.
