WCN Seeks Donations For Hurricane Relief

Posted
World Compassion Network, a disaster relief organization based in Warsaw, has already begun to set up immediate response teams to be mobilized following landfall of Hurricane Irene.
Joe Wilkey, WCN executive director, has been talking with churches near the coast in North Carolina and Virginia to set up initial contacts.
Mike Metzger, Metzger Trucking, Silver Lake, has agreed to donate a semi and driver to take supplies where they are needed.
WCN recently took a semi load of supplies to Joplin after the tornadoes, so the warehouse has been depleted.
WCN appreciates any monetary donations, supplies or partnership with any stores that would give discounts on food and water purchases. All donations are tax deductible.
