Stephanie Campbell has been named valedictorian and Jessica Zaugg has been named salutatorian of the 1999 Warsaw Community High School senior class.
Campbell will graduate with a grade point average of 14.03 on a 12.0 scale. The daughter of Linda and Stephen Campbell of Warsaw, she plans to major in physics at Purdue University. She has served as the team captain of the Academic Super Bowl team; a member of the YMCA gymnastics team; Spell Bowl; Spanish Club; Mathletes; and the National Honor Society.
Zaugg will graduate with a grade point average of 13.9 on a 12.0 scale. The daughter of Jim and Sharon Zaugg of Winona Lake, she plans to study biology at Grace College. She has been a member of the National Honor Society; Fellowship of Christian Athletes; Spanish Club; Campus Life student leader; Students Against Drunk Drivers; Mathletes; volleyball; basketball; track; and is involved with her church.
Commencement exercises for the 1999 WCHS graduation class will be June 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school Tiger Den.
