The Warsaw Community High School Jazz Band and Combined Middle School Jazz Band will present “Blues in the Night” tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center auditorium. The bands will perform such classics as “Freddie Freeloader” by Miles Davis, “Take Five” by the Dave Brubeck Quartet and others. The high school jazz band also will perform “Don’t Know Why” by Norah Jones, featuring guest vocalist Dianne Martin-Ratliff.Tickets are $3 and may be purchased in advance at the WCHS ticket booth or at the door. The WCHS Jazz Band is under the direction of Mickey Ratliff and Emily Mikel. The middle school jazz bands are under the direction of Joseph Peloza, Warsaw Middle School band director.
