During the ISTEP+ examination week, Warsaw Community High School will provide a learning opportunity for those juniors and seniors who have fulfilled their requirements on the ISTEP+ Graduation Qualifying Examination.
Those juniors and seniors, who have passed both the English/language arts and math portions of the examination, will be released all day Tuesday to participate in a job-shadowing experience, or perform a community service project in the Warsaw community, or visit a college or technical school of their choice.
Those same students will be excused Sept. 19 until 10:45 a.m. and again Thursday until 10:15 a.m.
Those juniors and seniors that have not passed the English/language arts portion of the test should arrive as usual on Tuesday morning. Math-only students should arrive at 10:10 a.m. and should enter the building at the front office.
All students participating in a job shadowing experience, performing in a community service project or visiting a college or technical school must complete the required paper work upon their return to school Sept. 21.
Should any patron have questions about these three days, contact Rick Swaim at 574-371-5099, Ext. 2326, or e-mail rswaim@warsaw.k12.in.us
