A Warsaw Community High School employee is facing charges for alleged illegal drug activity after a three-month investigation by the Warsaw Police Department.
Marilyn L. Stuckwisch, 40, of 2602 William Drive, Winona Lake, a study hall assistant allegedly received narcotic painkillers from a 17-year-old male student between December and February and faces charges for dealing in a schedule II controlled substance, a Class B felony. The Warsaw Police Department forwarded information to the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's office to recommend the charges. The prosecutor's office will decide if the charges will be filed.
According to the Warsaw Police Department, Stuckwisch reportedly had conversations with the student and asked to purchase Vicodin, a schedule II controlled substance, while she was employed at the high school.
After paying the student $180 in December, Stuckwisch allegedly received narcotic painkillers including Morphine Sulfate, Clonazepan, Oxycodone, Sonata and Fentanyl Feb. 28. She was detained by police after the exchange.
The actual exchange of the drug happened off school grounds, but discussions about the purchase started during Stuckwisch's school relationship with the teen.
