Warsaw Community High School's band will host two events May 22.
The Taste of the Town event begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Jazz Cafe at 7:30 p.m. The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Woodwind Quintet, with performances by the Warsaw middle and high school jazz bands, will be featured.Various restaurants throughout the community will host a "Taste of the Town" event showcasing unique foods and/or beverages from their businesses.
Restaurants participating in the Taste of the Town event include: Arby's, Betty's Cake Shop, Brown Bag Deli, Classic Catering, East of Chicago Pizza, Golden Corral, Mad Anthony's, Penguin Point Catering, Pizza Hut Lake Village, Ritters, Steak 'N' Shake and Taste of Texas BBQ.
Tickets to this event are $5. Tickets will be available from at the WCHS box office, through any member of the Warsaw band, the Warsaw Senior Center and participating area businesses throughout the community. All proceeds will benefit the WCHS band.
The WCHS Performing Arts Center offers free parking and is handicapped accessible.
