Warsaw Community Education Association presented four scholarships to seniors at Warsaw Community High School who are planning on majoring in education. The 2007 recipients are:
- Julene Holladay is the daughter of Becki and Scott Holladay. She plans to attend Grace College and major in elementary education, with a minor in Spanish. She has been active in the drama and choral departments, National Honor Society and Christ's Covenant Church.
- Karly Walters plans to attend Ball State University and major in early childhood education. Upon graduation, she wants to teach kindergarten. She has been active in NHS and HERO Co-op, where her training site allowed her to work with children at North Winona Childcare. She is the daughter of Kelly and Janine Walters.
- Shelby Warner will attend Indiana Wesleyan University, where she will major in elementary education. She is the daughter of David and Terri Warner. While in high school, she was active in NHS, cross country and Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church.
- Tyler Akers is the son of Troy and Tracey Akers. Tyler will attend Anderson University to pursue a degree in special education. He has been involved with Peer Tutoring, football, track and field, NHS and Warsaw Community Church youth group.
