Warsaw Community Development Corp. Board of Directors tabled renewing the WCDC executive director's contract during Tuesday's meeting.
WCDC Executive Director Carmen Lock's contract expires Dec. 31.
WCDC President Cindy Dobbins said the board will discuss Lock's contract in January.Dobbins read a letter from Bruce Woodward, Woodward Realty, regarding the Comstock House.
Woodward said he will call CCS Director Lewis Jones about potential renters.
Woodward said the boiler seems to be operating a lot better than the old one in the home.
Dobbins thanked the city, street department, cemetery and park employees for installing Christmas lights in downtown and in Central Park. She also thanked the city for snow removal.
Park Superintendent Jon Garber said the Christmas lights will be taken down after the first of the year.
He said the parks department is offering carriage rides in Central Park this Friday and Dec. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m.
