NORTH MANCHESTER – Wayne E. Swihart, 96, Valparaiso, and formerly of North Manchester, died at 10:20 p.m. Jan. 24, 2014, in Whispering Pines Health Care Center, Valparaiso. He was born May 5, 1917, in Kosciusko County, to Clarence and Nettie Lindzy Swihart. On Sept. 14, 1940, he married Mildred E. Beigh, who died March 3, 2010. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Burial is in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
