ROCHESTER – Wayne E. Roe, 91, Rochester, was surrounded by his loving family when he departed this life at 2:34 p.m. Nov. 12, 2016, at Hickory Creek of Rochester. He was born May 20, 1925, in Jonesboro, to Oral Everett and Nellie Stone Roe. On Dec. 7, 1946, in Jonesboro, he married Barbara Lou Brewer. He served with the United States Army Air Corps during World War II, flying a B-25 Mitchell. A celebration of his life will be at noon Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Pastor Kerry O'Brien will officiate. Friends may visit with his family two hours prior to the service.
