ROCHESTER — Wayne E. Bode, 82, Kewanna, died at 6 a.m. June 27, 2018, in Rouen, France.
He was born Aug. 24, 1935, in Joliet, Ill., to Theodore and Lillian Stuenkel Bode. On Aug. 10, 1963, in Wilton Center, Ill., he married Glenda D. Schifler. She survives.
He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960.
He had served as Fulton County president of Indiana Farm Bureau.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.
A celebration of his life will be at St. John Lutheran Church, 404 Jefferson St., Rochester, at 11 a.m. Saturday, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
