INDIANAPOLIS – Wawasee senior Logan Brugh was the only local athlete to advance to Saturday’s IHSAA state swimming finals at the IUPUI Natatorium. Brugh finished seventh of 32 competitors in the 500 freestyle preliminaries Friday, and will swim from lane one in the state championship race this afternoon. Official results from the preliminaries were not available from the IHSAA web site as of press time, but no other swimmer from either Wawasee or Warsaw was listed among the finalists or the consolation round.
