Wawasee Winter Sports Awards Presented

Wawasee Winter Sports Awards PresentedSYRACUSE – The Wawasee Athletic Department presented its winter sports awards Tuesday night.
Trevon Coleman was the most outstanding player on the boys basketball team, and Jairus Boyer was the teamwork award winner. Tyler Smith won the defensive award, Cameron Schlabach the three-point award, and Jacob Hand the rebound award. Cayden Wegener won the free throw and assist awards.
Aubrey Schmeltz was the offensive most valuable player on the girls basketball team, and Hannah-Marie Lamle was the defensive MVP. Casey Schroeder was the most improved, and Kabrea Rostochak the mental attitude award winner. Sara Pritchard was the junior varsity award winner, and Rhian Galloway won the freshman award.
Brady Robinson was the most valuable boys swimmer, and Austin Dunithan won the coaches award. Collin Thomas was rookie of the year, Aaron Troutman won the Heart of a Warrior award, Aaron Bartman was the most improved, and Jacob Krugman won the perseverance award.
Paul Mendoza won the varsity MVP for cheerleading, Amaya Rhodes was the J.V. MVP. and Raven Brown the freshman MVP. Anna Manwaring was the most improved, Kelsey Doss the mental attitude award winner and Olivia Long won the spirit award.
Paige Miller was the girls most valuable swimmer, and Alexis Bellamy won the coaches award. Ella Park won the upcoming freshman award, and Alyssa Koch took home the Heart of a Warrior award. Abbie Hackleman was most improved, and Caitlin Kingery won the Fearless Racer award.
Braxton Alexander was the most outstanding wrestler, and Logan Brugh won the mental attitude award. Luke Hensley was most improved on the team.
Reagan Atwood was the MVP of the gymnastics team, and Meghan Beer won the Drive, Desire and Determination award. Jada Parzygnot was most improved, and Katie Holmes was the J.V. award winner.
