SYRACUSE - More than 600 Wawasee students received bacterial meningitis vaccinations Thursday.
"It went very well," said Teresa Miller, RN, communicable disease nurse for Kosciusko County.
Along with Miller, Wawasee nurse Myra Alexander and Kosciusko County Health Dept. nurse Debbie Frank administered the shots. "They did a fantastic job with lots of volunteers," said Miller. "It went very smoothly. It was effective and efficient."
She said they ran out of vaccinations, but will finish with Wawasee High School students next week.
