Wawasee Tennis Falls To Concord

Posted
DUNLAP – Wawasee’s Charity Parker and Kabrea Rostochak remained undefeated at No. 1 doubles in the Northern Lakes Conference, taking three sets to beat Concord’s Emma Westlake and Maya Klopfenstein.
The match was the only one that went the Lady Warrior’s way in a 4-1 NLC loss to the Lady Minutemen Tuesday.
Parker and Rostochak were blanked in the opening set before coming back to take the last two.
“Charity Parker and Kabrea Rostochak stepped up their play to remain undefeated in the NLC. They are much improved and had a great effort today,” Wawasee head coach Shane Staley said.
Wawasee will step away from conference play on Thursday when it hosts Manchester.
