SYRACUSE – The Wawasee School Board elected officers during their meeting Tuesday.
Most positions remained the same as last year. Board members elected Mike Wilson president and George Gilbert vice president.
The board approved a stipend of $2,000 plus $50 per meeting, capped at $4,000.
Elections were the only business at the meeting, since Superintendent Dr. Tom Edington noted they must report them to the state by the middle of the month.
The board will conduct regular business during a special meeting next Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the high school Warrior Room.
