SYRACUSE -ÊSarah Marty is the valedictorian of the Wawasee High School class of 2004, and Sarah Becker is the salutatorian.
Marty, the daughter of Dave and Mary Marty, of Syracuse, was active on the school's swim team, Drama Club and Thespian Society. She was in the National Honor Society, Academic Hall of Fame, Kijam! tutoring, fall and spring theater productions and is active in Calvary United Methodist Church praise band and youth group.
She plans to attend Ball State University and major in English or English education.
Becker is the daughter of Jeff and Beth Becker, Leesburg. She was involved in Lifeline Ministries, Drama Club, Thespian Club, National Honor Society, Academic Hall of Fame and high school theater productions. She also was in her church choir.
She intends to go to the University of Saint Francis and major in physical therapy.
