Wawasee Leads Roundup With Hoops Win Over Fairfield

Gage Reinhard scored a game high 23 points, and Wawasee overcame a two-point second quarter in a 56-51 win over Fairfield in Syracuse Tuesday night.
Alex Clark added 14 points, and Sam Clark pitched in 10 for the Warriors. Joe Line led Fairfield with 21 points.
The Warriors carried a one point lead into the second half, and expanded it to seven by the end of the third quarter. A wild fourth period saw the visiting Falcons outpace Wawasee 24-22 to end the game.
Wawasee takes a 1-0 record to Angola for a 7:30 p.m. Saturday tip-off.

Becca Kennedy scored eight points, with Jaela Meister adding six points and a team high eight rebounds in Triton’s 43-26 loss to visiting NorthWood.
The Lady Trojans fell behind by eight after the first period, and the game fell out of reach when the Lady Panthers outscored Triton 12-3 in the third quarter.
Now 3-2 on the season, the Lady Trojans will host Wawasee at 10 a.m. Saturday in the first round of the Triton Tournament.

Manchester dropped a 55-21 decision to Peru Tuesday night. Squire wrestlers recording wins were Trey Addair at 132 pounds (decision), Collin Meggison at 138 (pin), Clayton Moore at 145 (pin) and Landon Tharp at 195 (pin).
The Squires will return to action at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Wabash County Tournament.
