Wawasee High School Key Club is holding its first coat drive.
Milford Wash and Storage are helping sponsor it with the Key Club, and will cover all of the costs of cleaning the coats. The coat collection will be during the boys junior varsity and varsity basketball games Friday.
Coats will be cleaned and then given to kids that need them that go to Wawasee Schools.
If there are more adult coats than can be used by WHS students then adult women's coats will be donated to women’s shelters. Adult men’s coats will be donated to local food banks and Combined Community Services to be given out to those in need in the community.
