Wawasee Improves To 9-3

ELKHART -ÊThe Wawasee Warriors improved to 9-3 on the season with a 67-52 win over Elkhart Memorial Friday night at Elkhart's North Side Gym.

The Warriors took a 19-14 lead after the first quarter of play, and but Elkhart Memorial knotted things at 31-all at the half. However, the Warriors outscored the Crimson Chargers 18-7 in the third frame to build a lead that Elkhart memorial was unable to overcome.

Kory Lantz led the Warriors with 18 points, including four three-pointers. Kyle Lantz added 12 points, while Clint Custer and Ben Knisely added 10 points each.

The Warriors hit the road today for a game at Manchester. Tip-off is at 6:15 p.m for the JV contest.
