SYRACUSE – Proceeds from Friday’s girls basketball game between the Wawasee Lady Warriors and Westview will go to support the Indiana Honor Flight program, according to a statement released by Wawasee Athletic Director Steve Wiktorowski. Honor Flight flies veterans and a companion to Washington D.C. for a day to visit the memorial of the war in which they fought. The entire school has had many different fund raising efforts all week for this cause. Tip-off for the JV game is 6:15 p.m. and the varsity game will begin 20 minutes after the JV contest.
