NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the school corporation known as Wawasee Community School Corporation that the Board of School Trustees of said school corporation will meet at the North Webster Elementary School Resource Center, 5745 N. 750 E., North Webster, at the hour of 5:30 p.m. (local time) on March 10, 2009, to consider the following additional appropriation of the bonds that were issued by the school corporation. The Board considers such additional appropriation necessary to meet the extraordinary emergency existing at this time: An appropriation in the aggregate amount of $8,830,000 on account of the renovation project: (1) Vocational Building ($1,995,000); (2) Wawasee High School ($1,995,000); (3) Wawasee Middle School ($1,995,000); (4) Syracuse Elementary School ($1,210,000); (5) Milford Elementary/Middle School ($1,380,000); and (6) North Webster Elementary School ($255,000), including the incidental expenses that are incurred in connection with said project and the bonds that were issued on account thereof. The funds to meet such additional appropriation were provided by the issuance and sale of bonds by the school corporation. The foregoing appropriation is in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budget and tax levy, and an extraordinary emergency for such appropriation exists by reason of the inadequancy of the present buildings to provide necessary school facilities in the school corporation. Taxpayers of said school corporation appearing at said meeting shall have the right to be heard in respect to said additional appropriation. Dated this 13th day of February, 2009.
