SPRING?HILL, Tenn. – Waunitta M. Bunnell, 92, passed away Aug. 10, 2016, at home in Spring Hill, Tenn .
She was born in Versailles. She was married to Delmer Bunnell, who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Moody Bible Institute, completed her education degree at Grace College and earned her master’s at St Francis University, Fort Wayne.
She worked 25 years as an elementary school teacher at Akron School as part of the Tippecanoe Valley School System. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and later the Thompson Station (Tenn.) Methodist Church. The greatest loves of her life were her faith, her family and her first-graders. She was always focused on finding the very best in every one of life’s moments and God’s creations.
Surviving are a son, Charles (and spouse Barbara) Bunnell, Spring Hill; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Bunnell, Spring Hill; a grandson, Alex Bunnell, Spring Hill; three grandchildren: Amy (and spouse Matt) Lutz, Westfield; Matthew (and spouse Sheila) Kessler, Eugene, Ore.; Emily (and spouse Michael) Diettrich, Monclova, Ohio; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers: Glen (and spouse Emaline) Raney, Estol “Chub” (and spouse Barbara) Raney and Loren “Pete” (Sue) Raney. She also was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Janet Kessler; a  sister, Mary “Carmen” Jordan; and two brothers, Robert and Nelson Raney.
Services will be at a later date at Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 5239 Main St., Spring Hill.
