Indiana American Water will begin flushing its water distribution system beginning Monday through May 2. The schedule Monday is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for Boggs Addition to Winona Lake, West Market Street to West Prairie Street, and East Smith Street to Winona Lake. On Tuesday all of Boggs and Phillips Additions distribution systems will be flushed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Wednesday Arthur Street and Park Avenue to East Clark Street including Hodges Addition and 1600 block of East Main Street, North Detroit Street south to Canal Street will be flushed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On April 28 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Canal Street to Eagle Creek and High Street to West Street will be flushed. This includes the entire downtown area. On April 29 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. hydrant flushing will be on East Fort Wayne Street to Durbin Street and Detroit Street to Argonne Road. On April 30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. hydrant flushing will be on Parker Street to North Harrison Street, the entire hospital area and Husky Trail, and north of U.S. 30 from CR 150W to CR 100E. On May 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. everything east of Argonne Road will be flushed and South Union Street to CR 200S including the schools and Ranch Road will be flushed. On May 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. all of Winona Lake will have hydrant flushing. Customers may experience periods of discoloration and pressure fluctuation during the flushing period.
