Editor, Times-Union:
It’s me again coming to you from Parent Drive speedway in beautiful Warsaw Indiana.
I am very concerned and frightened for my neighbors in this nice senior retirement community. I was just reminded of why I feel this way as I observed a car speeding by at a high rate of speed.
I am wise enough to know that no action will be taken, or if there is any way to stop people from putting lives at risk on our street. One time the city put up a “watch your speed” sign, it worked fine while it was up, but when it was gone speeders kept speeding.
Drivers just need to remember that they are driving in a senior citizen community. Some of us walk slower and use walkers and canes while crossing this busy street.
I know you can’t change human behavior of how people drive. With that in mind my main reason for this writing is:
On our street WATCH OUT FOR SENIOR CITIZENS!!!
