Washington Elementary School students recently participated in an assembly program focused on Native Woodland Indians.
The program covered native cultures throughout the Wabash Region. The assembly included how to build a wigwam and a longhouse, native foods, the use of plants and the role that natural resources played in Woodland Indians’ daily lives.
