Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
A 26-year-old Warsaw woman told police she was raped early Monday by a former boyfriend.
The allegation is being investigated by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.
According to a KCSD report, the woman allowed the man to visit her at her sister's Chapman Lake-area home. She then reportedly went for a drive with the man and, at an unknown location, he pulled the vehicle over. He then allegedly hit her and pulled her hair before having sexual intercourse with her against her will.
The woman was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital after the incident.
