A Warsaw woman was arrested after allegedly choking and biting a man.
Linda Lou Jenkins, 58, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, lot 177, Warsaw, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 3:51 p.m. Saturday for strangulation. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety and $250 cash.
Court documents filed Feb. 13 list the charges against her as strangulation, a level 6 felony, and domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.
On Jan. 30, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputy Craig Summers responded to a domestic disturbance with three other officers.
Summers talked with the male victim, who said Jenkins became angry because she thought he was having an affair. Jenkins backed him into a corner, choked him with her hands to the point he couldn’t breathe and bit him on the left side of his face. Teeth marks were on his face.
Jenkins told summers that she and the victim were arguing when it became physical. She said that while he was choking her, she bit him, but Summers did not see any evidence of Jenkins being choked.
A no contact order was entered Feb. 13.
