A Warsaw Community High School student is in fair condition following a Monday afternoon wreck.
According to police reports, Joshua E. Brooks, 18, of South CR 325E, Warsaw, was traveling westbound in his 1998 Ford F150 on U.S. 30 when he hit a commercial semi driven by Anthony W. Rettig, 43, Kenton, Ohio.
Rettig said he was stopped at a red light just west of Center Street, Warsaw, when Brooks' pickup rear-ended his trailer.
A witness at the scene said Brooks was traveling at a high rate of speed when he ran into Rettig's semi.
Brooks was transported to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he was listed in fair condition this morning.
