The Warsaw Senior League 15-and-Under All-Star team played eight games in eight days, going 7-1 in the process and winning the District 14 tournament recently.

The Warsaw team opened by winning the first two games of the tournament before dropping an 11-8 decision to Cleveland Little League, sending the team to the loser's bracket. Warsaw then reeled off an 8-7 win over East End, a 15-3 win over Osolo and an 11-0 win over Middlebury which gave Warsaw a rematch in the championship against Cleveland.

Warsaw had to defeat Cleveland two games in a row to win the title. Warsaw defeated Cleveland 4-2 in the first game behind the solid pitching of John Walmer. The final game was tied at 3-3 through three innings, but Zach Nelson shut down Cleveland the rest of the way and Warsaw scored five times to take the championship.

The tournament win allowed Warsaw to advance to the Sectional II Championship on only one day of rest.

After losing to South Bend East Side 4-2, Warsaw advanced to the championship game by defeating South Bend East Side in a rematch 7-4. Georgetown defeated Warsaw 12-7 despite a Nelson grand slam to end things for Warsaw.
