Warsaw Sectional Final Set; Whitko, Tippy Valley OustedThe Warsaw Sectional Championship match for Saturday morning has been set. In sectional semifinal action at Warsaw Community High School Thursday, the hosting Warsaw Lady Tigers defeated Tippecanoe Valley 5-0 and Columbia City down Whitko 5-0. With their wins, Warsaw (9-6) and Columbia City (10-7) will meet for the championship at 10 a.m. Saturday. The two have already squared off this season, with the Lady Tigers getting a 4-1 victory over the Lady Eagles in Warsaw on April 12. Advancing to the title match, Warsaw didn’t lose a set to Valley, and dropped just two games in the process. For Columbia City, it had slightly more trouble, but also didn’t lose a set en route to the title match.
