Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for BREAD products will be received for the Food2School Purchasing Cooperative participating school districts for the 2019-2020 school year.
This solicitation is requesting sealed bread bids from qualified distributors in accordance with applicable state and federal laws governing federally funded Child Nutrition Programs. It is the intent of the Food2School Cooperative, herein after referred to as the Food2School to award a contract to procure bread products from qualified bread distributor(s). Instructions require that Sealed Proposals be submitted by mail or hand delivery for receipt on or before Monday, April 22, 2019 by 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard time at the WCS Food & Nutrition Services Office, 850 E. Smith St., Warsaw, Indiana 46580.

A pre-proposal meeting (non-mandatory) will be held at 11:00 A.m. EST on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the WCS Food & Nutrition Services Office, 850 E. Smith St., Warsaw, Indiana 46580. All inquiries and questions about the RFP Bread Solicitation Document must be submitted in writing to the RFP Coordinator by 4:00 p.m., EST on April 12, 2019.
The initial term of this contract which results from the award of this RFP shall commence on July 1, 2019 and terminate June 30, 2020. The contract may have the option to be renewed for four (4) one (1) year contract renewals. Renewal shall be based on sales volume, customer satisfaction with products, service, and price. Successful respondent will be notified of this award by receiving a Letter of Award from Food2School.
Food2School reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to clarify items in a Proposal and to waive errors or corrections in a proposal or in the proposal process. Failure to provide the completed Proposal may render the Proposal non-responsive. Food2School reserves the right to retain all Proposals for a period of at least sixty (60) days.
