Notice is hereby given that it is the intent of the Food2School Purchasing Cooperative to accept sealed proposals for a Group Purchasing Organization and/or Distributor for the purpose entering into a contract to procure food, supplies, materials and provide information/services for 2019-2020 school year.
Qualified and experienced firms are invited to submit proposals in accordance with applicable state and federal laws governing federally funded Child Nutrition Programs. Request for Proposal instructions require that Sealed Proposals be submitted by mail or hand delivery for receipt on or before Monday, April 22, 2019 by 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard time at the WCS Food & Nutrition Services Office, 850 E. Smith St., Warsaw, Indiana 46580.

A pre-proposal meeting (non-mandatory) will be held at 1:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the WCS Food & Nutrition Services Office, 850 E. Smith St., Warsaw, Indiana 46580. All inquiries and questions about the Group Purchasing Organization and/or Distributor Solicitation Document must be submitted in writing to the RFP Coordinator by 4:00 p.m., EST on April 12, 2019.
The initial term of this contract which results from the award of this RFP shall commence on July 1, 2019 and terminate June 30, 2020. The contract may have the option to be renewed for four (4) one (1) year contract renewals. Renewal shall be based on sales volume, customer satisfaction with products, service, and price. Successful respondent will be notified of this award by receiving a Letter of Award from Food2School.
Food2School reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to clarify items in a Proposal and to waive
errors or corrections in a proposal or in the proposal process. Failure to provide the completed Proposal may render the Proposal non-responsive. Food2School reserves the right to retain all Proposals for a period of at least sixty (60) days.
