Warsaw School Board members Wednesday will interview five candidates to replace a board member who is moving from the area.
Larry Chamberlain submitted his resignation from the board at the February meeting. He represents District 5, and his term will end in December 2006. His replacement will serve in his place until the end of the term.
Slated candidates are Peggy Lieffring, Tom Heuer, Tamara Dalton, Scott Long and Janice Nelson. The interview process will take place in the training room, administration building, beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday. It is a public meeting.
Also on the board's agenda are two "town hall" meetings scheduled for March 23 and 31 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Lakeview Middle School auditorium.
The topic of the town hall meetings will be "What must Warsaw Community Schools do to make our students the best they can be?"
The second meeting, March 31, will also discuss what part parents can play in making students successful.
