Posted
Middle and high school students from all across Indiana will descend upon the Warsaw Area Career Center gym Saturday for the Warsaw Robotics VEX State Qualifying Robotics Competition.
According to a press release from Warsaw Community Schools, the competition will start at 10 a.m. and will last most of the day.
As many as 50 teams will come together in a competition where they will battle against each other with robots created from VEX Educational Robots. Participants will square off in the game VEX Robotics Competition Nothing But Net, which is played by scoring colored balls in high and low goals and by elevating robots in a designated climbing zone. The game was developed by VEX Robotics Inc. and the Robotics Education & Competition.
This is the second time that such a competition will be hosted at WACC, and it is presented by the WACC Engineering/Technology Education Department. For more information, contact Abbi Richcreek at arichcreek@warsawschools.org
