CITY OF WARSAW
    Proposals for the City of Warsaw, Center Street Pump Station, Mechanical Screen/Washer/Compactor procurement project will be received by the City of Warsaw, Indiana, ("Owner") at the office of the Clerk Treasurer in City Hall, 302 East Market St., Warsaw, Indiana 46580, until 1030 am, local time, on October 7, 2011. The proposals will be received by the Board of Public Works and Safety at 9:30 am on October 7, 2011 in Council Chambers at City Hall. The proposal should be clearly marked "Mechanical Screen Proposal" on the outside of the envelope and as otherwise set forth in the Request for Proposal. No late Proposals will be accepted.
    The City of Warsaw plans to purchase a screen, washer and compactor system for the Center Street Pump Station. As such, they wish to evaluate and select various screen, washer, compactor combinations based on cost and other criteria.
    In general, the work consists of: furnishing one mechanical screen, washer and compactor system for use in the City's Center Street Pump Station as specified. Copies of the Proposal Documents may be examined at the office of the Utility Director, or at the office of Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd., ("Engineer") 2420 Coliseum Blvd., Suite 214, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805, without charge. Copies may be obtained from the latter office, upon the non-refundable deposit of $20.00, check only, made payable to Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd., for each set of Proposal Documents.
    Proposals must be submitted on the forms found in the Proposal package and must contain the information requested to evaluate the proposals. The proposed costs submitted must remain good for 90 days following the date for Receipt of Proposals.
    The Owner reserves the right to reject and/or cancel any and all Bids. Proposals, solicitations and/or offers in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interests,  of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Proposal, and or accept any Proposal which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
