NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY WARSAW, INDIANA, REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION DECLARING THE EASTERN TIF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA AND APPROVING AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AND OF A PUBLIC HEARING RELATING THERETO Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”), the governing body of the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment (the "Department") and the Redevelopment District of the City of Warsaw, Indiana (the "City"), on September 10, 2012, approved and adopted it Resolution (the "Declaratory Resolution") declaring that an area within the City, designated as the "Eastern TIF Economic Development Area" (the "Economic Development Area"), is an economic development area within the meaning of IC 36-7-14 , as amended (the "Act"), which Economic Development Area is more particularly described as on file in the office of the Mayor of the City, at City Hall, located at 302 East Market Street, Warsaw, Indiana. The Declaratory Resolution further found and determined, based on the evidence submitted to the Commission, that the public health and welfare will be benefited by accomplishment of the Economic Development Plan (referred to below) for the Economic Development Area, and that the accomplishment of the Economic Development Plan will be a public utility and benefit as measured by public benefits similar to the attraction or retention of permanent jobs, an increase in the property tax base, and improved diversity of the economic base. The Declaratory Resolution further approved and adopted an economic development plan to serve as the Economic Development Plan for the Economic Development Area. Notice is further given that the public hearing will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. (local time), in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 302 East Market Street, Warsaw, Indiana, at which time the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and consider the objections of any person who has filed a written remonstrance to the proposed Economic Development Plan for the Economic Development Area within the filing period set forth below and will consider adopting resolutions confirming the Declaratory Resolution. Written remonstrances to the proposed Economic Development Plan for the Economic Development Area must be filed with the office of the City Planner located at 794 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana, by 11:00 a.m. (local time) on Monday, November 5, 2012. The proposed Resolution can be inspected during normal business hours in the office of the City Planner located at 794 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana.
