At 2:03 a.m. Saturday, Warsaw police received a report of gunfire at 1608 Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw.
Police arrived and found that the man responsible for the shooting and two other men had stolen a vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. The vehicle stolen, a blue Ford Crown Victoria, is registered to Cesar Rosales, and was damaged when its rear window was shot out.
The three men were pulled over and surrounded by police at the intersection of Lake and Perry streets, Warsaw. Luis Juarez, the shooter, was arrested for criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
According to Juarez, he was only shooting the gun into the air. The damage to Rosales' vehicle apparently was accidental.
