Electricity filled the Warsaw Community High School Career Center Gym Thursday.
No, it wasn't a thunderstorm - it was the Warsaw Academic Super Bowl Invitational.
Students from 17 high schools competed in fine arts, social studies, mathematics, English, science and an interdisciplinary category. Each category had 25 questions.
The high school students had to answer such questions as: "Two resistors with values of 6.0 ohms and 12.0 ohms are connected in parallel. This combination is hooked in series with a 4.0 ohm resistor. What is the over-all resistance of this combination?" (The answer: 8 ohms).
