Warsaw Plan Commission Monday approved two plats. The commission approved a final plat for Warsaw Development LLC west of Park Ridge Subdivision. The plat is creating 22 new residential lots from the original 7.15 acres. The commission also approved the replat of Maple Hill Manor off of Rozella Road. The plat is to remove a platted golf course easement that connects into the existing golf course west of the subdivision. The commission reviewed information on a flood plan for the city. The plan will be presented in ordinance form and reviewed during the August meeting. The purpose of the ordinance is to promote the public health, safety and general welfare and to minimize public and private losses due to flood conditions in specific areas. The ordinance also sets duties and responsibilities of the floodplain administrator including reviewing all floodplain development permits to assure that the permit requirements of the ordinance have been satisfied.
