ORDINANCE NO. 2010-06-02 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 74 OF THE WARSAW CITY CODE BY ADDING SEC. 74-124 AND SEC. 74-132 IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA that Indiana Code 9-21-1 authorizes local authorities to regulate traffic by means of a traffic control device: and, Whereas, The Warsaw Traffic Safety Commission has recommended to the Common Council of the City of Warsaw certain actions that will prevent traffic accidents on city streets: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of Warsaw, Indiana that Chapter 74, Traffic and Vehicles, Article III, Operation of Vehicles Generally, of the Warsaw City Code be amended to read as follows: CHAPTER 74 TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES ARTICLE III OPERATION OF VEHICLES GENERALLY Section 74-124, One-way streets and alleys Item 14 shall be added to read as follows: (14) Dubois Drive from Parker Street to Provident Drive shall be one-way westbound. Section 74-132, yield signs Item 28 shall be added to read as follows: (28) At the southwest corner of the intersection of Dubois Drive and Provident Drive. Section 74-128, One-way stops Items 256 through 259 shall be added to read as follows (256) At the southwest corner of the intersection of Doe Street and County Road 175 East. (257) At the northeast corner of the intersection of Doe Street and Buck Trail. (258) At the northwest corner of the intersection of Buck Trail and Stag Drive. (259) At the southeast corner of the intersection of Stag Drive and County Road 75 North (Patterson Road). Section 74-129, Two-way stops Items 137 through 138 shall be added to read as follows: (137) At the northwest and southeast corners of the intersection of Doe Street and Deerfield Path. (138) At the northeast and southwest corners of the intersection of Deerfield Path and Stag Drive. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon proper notice.
