MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Brandy Christman, a Warsaw native and senior vice president, director of sales enablement at Carter Bank, has graduated from the North Carolina Bankers Association’s School of Banking.
Christman, a graduate of Cowan Jr./Sr. High School and Indiana Wesleyan University, spent four years completing the program, which she says challenged her to think beyond her role and develop as a leader.
“This program gave me a clearer understanding of how every department and decision impacts a bank’s performance,” Christman said. “It’s not just about doing your part well - it’s about how your part fits into the bigger picture and contributes to the bank’s success.”
Carter Bank CEO Litz Van Dyke said, “Brandy’s success at the N.C. School of Banking reflects her commitment to leadership and to strengthening the connections between our teams,” Van Dyke said. “Her ability to translate what she’s learned into meaningful strategies will benefit our associates, customers and communities.”
Christman said she plans to use the insights and professional network she gained to help bridge gaps between departments and continue fostering a collaborative culture. She also co-hosts Carter Bank’s internal podcast, which aims to break down silos and share industry insights.
